ACTION ITEMS A. The Board will consider, discuss, and take possible action to adopt a resolution to delegate authority to the Superintendent during emergency closure/suspension of inperson instruction during the COVID-19 pandemic. B. The Board will consider, discuss, and take possible action regarding postponing the May 2, 2020 General Election to November 3,2020, including adoption of an Order under the Authority of the Texas Governor's Proclamation. C. The Board will consider, discuss, and take possible action on issues related to COVID-19 pandemic, and the District's response to same. VII. CLOSED MEETING The governmental body may go into closed meeting as authorized by V.T.C.A. Government Code, Chapter 551, sub-chapter D as provided in the notice of this meeting. The following items may be discussed in closed meeting: A. Pursuant to Tex. Gov't Code Section 551.071, consultation with legal counsel regarding legal issues pertaining to COVID-19 pandemic. B. Pursuant to Tex. Gov't Code Section 551.074, the Board will discuss resignations and retirement of personnel. C. Pursuant to Tex.
